Modry Las is a naturally beautiful golf course in northwestern Poland, an area known for its rolling countryside, pristine lakes and virgin forests. The 18-hole championship course is the first to be designed by Gary Player in Central Europe and opened in 2008 as a private golf course that is open to the public. Host to Polish PGA tournaments, it is destined to define world champions. Modry Las (which in Polish suggests the blue-green color of the abundant pines in the area) was built on 321 acres (130 hectares) of gently rolling terrain, nestled between an oak, pine and birch forest and the untouched, spring-fed Raduń Lake. The course winds along the lake’s edge and stretches around ponds, streams and fields of wildflowers. Fairways are marked by breathtaking stretches of landscape and strategically placed signature Gary Player bunkers. Modry Las was built to be one of Europe’s top courses and is on par with the world’s best. A pro provides lessons at the Modry Las Golf Academy. There is a practice range, putting greens and clubhouse. It features 200 home lots tucked discreetly around the course.

Golf legend Gary Player inaugurated the Modry Las Golf Course on July 4, 2009, by cutting
the ribbon with the Mayor of Choszczno Robert Adamczyk, ML Chairman Arthur Gromadzki and
Poland’s Vice-Minister of Sport and Tourism Adam Giersz. Over four hundred people attended
the all day event, participating in a golf clinic led by Player.
"Modry Las is a world class golf course carved in a beautiful, natural landscape with mature pine forests, spring fed lakes and fields of wildflowers – just an incredible setting."
